How I work
I design and make by hand journals, cases, boxes, notebooks and photo albums, in search of rich combinations of color and texture, whose pages allow you to express yourself freely.
I pay attention to every detail, from when I choose the materials, fold the paper, and sew the signatures together, until I build the covers and complete a piece.
In search for various uses and experiences, I have created seven bookbinding lines: Nysa, Edda, Lyra, Heka, Tara, Thea, and Yria.
Each style implies the development of different finishes: painting the paper or the fabric; putting in place accessories such as pens, buttons or magnets; creating decorations in relief or paper mosaics; making attractive stitches on the spine; forming covers of mixed materials; and designing stationery or prints for objects with a specific function.
I give a personal character to my bindings with initials, names, symbols, or word designs. I create paper artwork for special events or gifts: from an invitation card to a book.
